A Japanese 1883 Pattern Naval Dirk. Commissioned officers model. Used up to 1945. In excellent condition.
This example is a mid war tanto with a wood mekugi
peg and plastic on handle, this was used instead of
fish skin because of its scarcity. In mint polish, has a

A pair of Japanese Ko-Sode, shoulder guards. Part of
a Japanese suit of armour. Dating from the Edo period
circa 1600-1800. Good quality for a high ranking samurai. Metal top plate with gilt brass decoration and gold laquer bottom plate. Some wear and tear with age.
One bottom plate has some missing laquer.
Ito has been bright orange but has faded with age.

A Japanese large Katana Tsuba, possibly bronze. Made by a mirror maker, mirrors were made of bronze. Signed Yamashiro Ju Masa Yoshi. Looks Kagamishi school. Late Edo period. In good condition. 82mm by 82mm. A nice tsuba.

A Japanese Tsuka, a hilt. For a large sword. 19th century work , in good condition. Has tree trunk and flower menuki. Will take a long tang, 7.5 inches from the machi jo nakago jiri and 29mm across at the machi.
