A Japanese Wakizashi with an unsigned blade. In old polish. Blade in bright condition, well forged with a thin hamon. Mounts in good condition, has a very good Azu Shoami tsuba. This example is a mid war tanto with a wood mekugi
peg and plastic on handle, this was used instead of

A pair of Japanese Ko-Sode, shoulder guards. Part of
a Japanese suit of armour. Dating from the Edo period
circa 1600-1800. Good quality for a high ranking samurai. Metal top plate with gilt brass decoration and gold laquer bottom plate. Some wear and tear with age.
One bottom plate has some missing laquer.
