A Japanese Katana, an antique blade in WW2 mounts.
Signed Suke Nobu, circa 1525. The sword is in tired condition, blade has old rust and marks. The handle needs a rebuild and the blade polishing. This is a restoration project.

A Japanese Type 98 Shin Gunto Army Officers sword.
Is signed but the signature is rusted but looks like Noshu Taro Kane Tsugu. The mounts are in reasonable condition but the metal scabbard is rusty. Blade has old rust and marks. This would be a restoration project.

Shows a teapot hanging from a branch. Nice dark brown patina with gold inlays. Size 29mm by 11mm.

A Japanese Officers rank knot. Plain brown with a blue slider. This is unusual and quite rare.
Colour indicates that this is a lieutenant to captain.

Japanese Wakizashi.
A large Japanese Wakizashi. A Suriage, cut down from
a longer blade. Signed Awataguchi Ju Yoshi Hira Saku.
Has a rare two kanji suriage inscription and is dated
1721.
Mounts are in good condition, blade in untouched condition. The habaki has a possible mon badge on it.

A Japanese Iron Wakizashi Tsuba. Late Edo period.
A Mokko shape, four lobed. Has fan shaped views of a Chinese village. Size 75mm by 69mm.
Has a nice brown patina and some old rust but overall condition is good for its age.

A Japanese Iron Katana Tsuba. An ancient style Katchushi school piece. Early Edo period. Large oval tsuba 87mm high by 83mm wide. Has two later shakudo plugs in hitsuana. Dark brown patina and old rust. Pierced with shape of either a pumpkin or ghost with outstretched arms. A nice example.

A Japanese Aikuchi, dagger without a tsuba. Dated 1862. Signed Zushu Nao Tsugu Saku. Pupil of famous smith, Nao Tane. A high quality dagger and worthy of restoring. Blade in old polish and has scratches and some old marks. Blade shape different on each side.
